We can’t afford not to have it, but since the one-percent serving “Anschutz Four” LAUSD Trustees and the Broad/Gates Marionette aren’t interested the least bit about working class families, they use the budget as an excuse. Once they cut unnecessary assessments, consultants, Beaudry Bureaucrats, and all the other copious fat off the district, then we can talk about cutting services that actually serve students. The fact that they have a TV station where the Mendacious Monica Garcia and the vile Maria Casillas spread privatization propaganda, speaks volume to LAUSD’s priorities.
Word is that Monica Garcia is already talking to her charter executive colleagues about free facilities for their profitable ventures. We can be sure the insatiably greedy Ana Ponce has her eyes on the Evans complex.
