Today the LAUSD School Board is voting to transfer TIER III funds from Adult Education programs to LAUSD’s General Fund.
While a rally is planned today at 1pm outside Beaudry (click here for flyer), Adult Student leaders & Teachers are arriving in Sacramento, this morning, after an overnight bus ride, for a day of lobbying elected officials on the importance of ending flexible funding.
We need to end flexible funding & return to TIER II dedicated funding so that money for Adult Education is used for Adult Education –not K-12. Photos of trip to follow soon.
