On September 12, 2012 the Save Adult Ed Campaign received the 2012 Literacy Leadership Award “In Recognition of Extraordinary Contributions to improving Adult Education & Literacy in the United States”.
The award was presented in the Dirksen US Senate Office Building on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. In attendance were many distinguished guests, including Senator Jim Webb. Many thanks to the National Coalition for Literacy for this honor and bringing national attention to our cause!

Congratulations again. Great presentation at our meeting, too. It was great to meet you all, and I look forward to staying in touch.
