Here’s the full 40 minutes of L.A. City Council on May 29, 2012. Several adult student leaders speak including Laila Boase and Maryanne Reyes. All 15 Councilmembers voted in support of the resolution, several of them speak before the vote. We thank Coucilmembers Jan Perry & Ed P. Reyes for sponsoring the resolution. We thank Councilman Herb Wesson, Jr. for the support shown in his committee. And we thank all the Councilmembers who voted in support of it. Surely the LAUSD School Boardmembers can change course & vote to fully fund Adult Education!
