What Would Martin Luther King, Jr. Do? He would march in support of Adult Education!

Today is the 44th anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. and we know that if he were alive today he would be marching with us, on the side of the community, the side of the students, and parents, and teachers and workers.

  1. Like, like, like. It’s also the birthday (RIP) of one of the staunchest advocates for adult education, Howard Ransom, Maxine Waters Chapter Chair, who passed away suddenly almost 3 years ago. It was Howard’s suggestion, after many frustrating years banging our heads against the DACE wall of intransigence, that we reach out to community members and community organizations with our message. Our first collaboration was with the Tom and Ethel Bradley Foundation and their Intentional Civility program.
